The Cooper Family Scholarship Fund
The Cooper Family Scholarship Fund will provide a financial scholarship to college students who live in the Ralph J Rangel Houses in Harlem, New York. It’s an annual fund providing funding at the beginning of the second semester of the college academic year. Checks will be sent to the student’s college directly in January.
Before completing the online application, please read the following criteria for eligibility:
YOU MUST BE a current resident of the Ralph J. Rangel Houses in New York, NY
YOU MUST BE currently enrolled FULL TIME at a 4 year college/university
YOU MUST BE enrolled with at least twelve (12) credits on your current schedule
YOU MUST provide documentation on your college letterhead, indicating that you are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. We will accept a letter from the school, your registered second semester class schedule, or a transcript. We will also contact the school for further verification. There is no GPA requirement for this scholarship. Our goal is to support students pursuing higher learning.
If you receive the scholarship, we will request a photograph of you for publication purposes.
